This is my Solution video for experimenting and testing a new Technology, in my case - Android Studio using FirebaseUI for database.

Hello my name is Nikola Nedialkov and I am from Sofia, Bulgaria. I'm a second year Art & Technology student in Saxion University of Applied Sciences. My assignment this quartile was to experiment and solve problems with a new technology. I chose Android Studio for native application development and this was something completely new for me. I learned a lot about its different functionalies and endless possibilities. I had some programming skills with different languages but here I needed a lot more to succeed.

At first I didn't have a clear idea what exactly should I create or even where to start. I had so much freedom to chose from many different technologies but all seem to look complicated because everything was completely new. Nevertheless I put much effort and spent a great amount of time as well as putting a big goal to follow in order to upgrade my knowledge. My goal was to create a chat application. But there was a problem because I was really a beginner so I needed to take some tutorials to be able to start from somewhere. I started small by creating some small steps which I hoped to eventually help me in the end. I created custom apps using libraries - a notification toast, submit and send buttons, and an emoji inegrated button, some Firebase testing, a bubble view, an introduction screen etc.

In the beginning I was thinking to turn to the only option which sounded one tiny bit more familiar than the others - Processing but for Android but I was really glad that I didn't because I learned so much from Android Studio. I knew that it was going to be hard but I decided to give it a try since I needed to make a choice and eventually I was more than happy and satisfied by the final result.
